RYAN MUHA

President

Ryan was appointed President of The Ryan Company in 2024. As President he provides leadership, direction, and guidance to his executive team and oversees all operations of the company. Ryan has been a part of the Quanta Services family of companies since 2013 with the majority of that time being served at M. J. Electric. Previously, Ryan worked for Sargent Electric Company at their Midwest office. During his career, Ryan has held positions as Estimator, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Director of Operations, and Vice President.

JACK COWART

Vice President of Operations

Jack was appointed Vice President of Operations in 2010. His primary duties are organizational, procedural & operational responsibilities. Jack joined the company in 1987 and has held several positions as Superintendent, Construction Manager and Operations Manager.

RICH MCELHANEY

Director of Safety

Rich works closely with The Ryan Company project administration and operations teams to ensure that safety is embraced as a core value throughout the company. When not in the field, Rich oversees day-to-day safety operations out of the corporate office in Norton, MA. Rich has been in the Health and Safety Management field for over 33 years. Previously, as Safety Director with Taggart Global, he provided global safety leadership and has worked in Africa, Australia, Canada and China. Rich earned his Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health Management from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 1992. He also earned his master’s in safety science from West Virginia University in 2011. His professional designations include Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Construction Risk Insurance Professional (CRIS). Rich is an active member of The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and has been a member since 1990.

CHAD MCLEOD

Vice President of Finance

Chad is a CPA with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, including over 11 years at The Ryan Company. As VP of Finance and Administration, Chad is responsible for all finance matters, as well as leading the accounting, and human resources. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bridgewater State University.

JOE BENOIT

Director of Operations

As the Director of Operations at The Ryan Company Inc., Joe oversees the company’s nationwide construction operations. With a focus on safety and excellence, Joe brings technical expertise, strong client relationships, and effective management to his role. Starting as a laborer in 1987, Joe has advanced through various roles across the entire spectrum of construction, culminating in his current leadership position. Joe holds electrical and general contractor licenses in nearly 20 states, including Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, and Texas.

JAMIE CRAIG

Director of Preconstruction

Jamie is responsible for all preconstruction activities including procurement, estimating, business development and contract negotiations. Located in the Norton, MA Office he has more than 20 years of experience joining Ryan Company in 2011. Since joining The Ryan Company, Jamie has held the position of Senior Project Manager and Senior Estimator. He has an Associate Degree in Applied Science Information Technology from Central Piedmont College.
